Poor Man's Fast Helmet Forehead Protection

Recommended Posts

Some of you probably remember me complaining about my whacky helmet and it's lack of forehead protection...

Well, instead of buying a proper Emerson/Code Red, I decided to do the next worst thing; Duct Tape and cardboard - Three pieces of cardboard ziptied to my helmet's bungee system.

The project took maybe 15 minutes at most and was completely haphazard, but hey; it does the job.

The beauty is that nothing is exposed, even when thrown on in a hurry.

The Multicam on the mask is a custom job as well, but significantly more care was applied to said mask.

If I get the chance I'll probably replace it with leather strips attached to the suspension system with multicam fabric.
