Sturm
I need to get a plate scanned so I can model an adapter for my newest project, I DO have access to some older generation printers, but if anybody has a newer one that would be awesome as well. The ACE style Skeleton stock I'll be using is designed for an LR300, which means different buffer tube style. I'll have to make an adapter for the adapter to use regular buffer tubes at a future time. Anybody have an idea of where I can find a 3D Scanner/Measurement taker? If I can find a Machinist to create the adapter in metal, that would be awesome. Maus
There is a hacker space in Kentucky that has all the stuff you would need but you would have to know a member to get in, or maybe contact them and ask. A lot of the members are cool and willing to help people out with projects for free. I'm no longer a member and I'm not that good with blender. http://www.lvl1.org/ You might be able to get in contact with someone there and see if they cant make it and mail it to you. They might charge for it though.
Sturm
They said that they don't do for hire work, should've asked an individual. Seems like a great place though, I've got to check it out some time.
Joker
I can't speak for the man's schedule or anything in that regard but S_Z could potentially help you out. He has been known to machine random parts from time to time. He does excellent work. ~Joker
