So my husband and I order quite a bit of stuff from Kapowwe, including a $100 and a $20 mystery box. With shipping and everything it was just a hair shy of $190.00 total. We ordered on the 26th and yesterday it still said processing so this morning my husband called and got the readed automated service hich ran him around in circles for awhile until he got mad and hung up. I checked about an hour ago and it still said processing. So I call the 800 number and get all comfy ready to be on hold for an hour or what not. While I was sitting and waiting I get a notice i have an e-mail from Kapowwe so I opened it up...here is what it said:

We sincerely apologize. We are currently unable to ship to the state of Indiana. We have refunded this order in full. Please allow 2 to 5 business days for this to be reflected on your account. Again, we apologize and regret this inconvenience. Thank you.

I figure since this is an Indiana forum I would let everyone know what they sent to me via the e-mail...and to ask if anyone else had ever ran across this problem? I know that every state has different laws, but I am not sure why they would say Indiana and not tell me exactly why they cannot ship to Indiana, as in which item could I leave off my order to make it okay to ship? If anyone else has gotten an order from them, what did you order? I am trying to figure out why they cannot ship to Indiana...without having to spend an hour on hold to ask them myself.

I had the same problem with them, and I found out they're a part of an ongoing lawsuit in Indiana(no clue as to why it's here) over copyright and trademark issues with some big named companies. They can't ship here, or accept payments from Indiana residents for an order. Pretty crazy stuff..

 

By the way, don't bank on getting anything worthwhile in those mystery box deals.

I too have had an e-mail from them saying they cannot ship to IN because it's "illegal", I haven't figured out why but I shop mostly at Evike, ASGI, airsoftmegastore, ehobbyasia, and a few select places that I don't give links out to cuz well....they have specific things in stock that I want to stay in stock so I don't tell anyone. <- selfish, I agree, but with searching come knowledge and letting go of that is like....losing? lol. Yesterday I found a brand new Guarder Speeder Chrono, one that I've been looking to get for about a year now but couldn't find one in stock anywhere, but I found a new place that's selling it, along with some NIB WA handguns, some Tanaka sniper rifles, etc etc, all of which are old guns that are sold out everywhere else. However if you are looking for something specific and can't seem to find it then please don't hesitate to ask me where you can get it at.
