civey
Would a riot shield be a feasible battle field weapon (for airsoft)? Walt do you all think about this ideal?
Darth
They allow them up at kzoo. And to be honest. They are a huge waste. Blind fire is not allowed at most fields. So you still have to stick your head out to shoot. So basically you are just carrying something that screams "hey shoot the hell out of me"
civey
It would still be a blast. I was figuring it would be more of a distraction than a weapon. Allowing some one to circle around and make the kills. Also, if it's a clear riot shield, would it still concerned blind fire? jj999125
fields+shield=bad idea, if you have ever played battlefield 4 (dont worry if you havent), they added a shield into the game and it basically became a gimick immediately. IF you REALLY want to use a shield effectively, you could have a squad of friends in a CQB indoor game co-operating as a SWAT team, if there are fields that allow shields. Now as for realism, you may as well just wear ballistic plates, it would be lighter and you would have maneuverability. Airsoft shields are like Communism, it looks GREAT in theory however its rubbish.
