Sarge
Well, the bb gun warz was fun last night. Hahaha. I did have a good time, first game with you guys in awhile. Good to be back. Anyway to the op. What was planned?A laid back night game to teach those newer to night ops the fundementals of how they work and how to adjust from regular ops. What happened?I believe just that. Pretty simple game, pretty fun. I was glad to see a good turnout and a lot of old faces I hadn't seen in awhile. Lots of newer ones as well, which is equally as good. Now on to the pros and cons.... Pros:1. Getting to play with and against some old friends.2. Tan team didn't have as many drop outs.3. No breaks as promised.4. Hit calling was good, didn't see any problems there.5. It was FUN!! Cons:1. Communication sucked, tan side at least. Lot of friendly fire.2. Full auto in the dark was..excesive. (Hey, like that time I got hit in the dick at like at 20ft or when I got hit all over at literally 1 foot.)3. Green team dropping out early. (Yeah you guys outnumbered us like 2 to 1 but still liked the target rich environment)4. Zombie we all have a retard moment in airsoft, yours was just last night at the wrong time. No worries we got them back.5. I lost some rail panels. (might not be all i lost haven't done a full check of all my stuff) Overall pretty good night game. Joker
Well from my POV everything pretty much went "according to plan" and pretty smoothly. There were little to no issues as far as the game went. There were several new players that had either never played before or never played night games before, so it was cool to have them out to learn a thing or two. No issues with hit calling or anything like that. But I would like to stress (just like I did before the game) target identification. It really is super important when playing airsoft at night or in the day time. Know who you are shooting at before you pull the trigger, friendly fire is no fun for anyone. And light discipline, some of you guys had your lights on all over the place. Not only can it give you away but if you rely on it to much at night it will destroy your night vision for when you need it. Comms seemed to be used pretty well for the most part. Hell maybe I should write up a guide on this stuff or something...? I would like to address a couple things for future reference. Firstly is showing up on time. I understand things come up, shit happens, and that this was an oddly timed event. But we had quite a few players show up hours late. That tends to make things difficult for me and those out there on the field already. If you think you may be late to an event for what ever reasons post that in the event forums, I mean that is what they are here for. No reason to make others have to wait on you cause your late. I know everyone likes to run on "airsoft time" but it gets old and just adds to the many reason I already do not like hosting events. If I can drive 6+ hours to a game up in MI and not only be on time but early you guys can do it too. Another thing is "gearing up" if you are not going to be there early enough to take the time you need to gear up then have your gear ready to go before you get there. It honestly should not take you more then 15 minutes to gear up and be ready to go and thats including loading mags. Not a real big deal but still... I would like to start my events somewhat on time. Lastly is trash. Now from what I could tell there were no problems with this at this game. But I am starting to see more and more trash left out on the field. I really dont want to spend my free time picking up other peoples trash, believe it or not I do have better shit to do. If for some reason you do not want to take your trash out of the field with you when you leave I do have a metal barrel in the staging area for trash. I know it had been a bit full lately because I had not had a chance to burn it or get rid of it. So in short pick up after yourselves from now on. The only plastic that should be left on the field is bbs from shooting at one another. /rant. I would like to thank everyone that came out to play. I hope you all had fun and learned a thing or two about playing at night. It really is a lot different then day time skirmishes. The Steak N Shake afters were great as always. See you guys on the field sooner or later. Cons:I didn't freaking rain. ~Joker
Mars
It was great. Mostly for me, because Peli's plan worked out perfectly the third try, (after he had already left.) THANK YOU ZOMBIE!!! Without his help we would have never made it to the tan team's base. Overall it was good. It was my first night game and I had a blast. For those who don't know, here is a link to the "Master Plan." Just look for my post. http://www.airsoft-indiana.com/forum/index.php/topic/1971-greatest-airsoft-stories/ Pros:didn't rainmaster planshot Altes TWICE!!!!!!!! BigAltes
Great job boys on that bold move late in the game, but I was dead and helping Thomas look for a damn light that he dropped when I walked past you 3 and Zombie You pick just the perfect time to make that move.It was great to see Sarge and some of his guys out in the field, you rock young man...............BUT i think you are confused about comms, I was talking to just about everybody that had a radio all night....I think you might have been on the wrong channel .Joker it was a fun game, tan was outnumbered and green pushed us hard and took the high ground during the day part, but all of Tan did a nice job when it got dark, and we started to get those bottles Also got to meet some of the new players, and playing with them.Thank you again Joker for letting myself and LilA. come out and take some scalps

Or just deciding not to even bother using it at all. I died from stupid friendly fire as much as I did enemy
Rhino
From the tan team's side, the game really picked up after dark. For me especially, once it got dark, things picked up a lot. I've only done night games twice before and none this absolutely dark. At least on my side, the only light was the red of dead sticks and the occasional clusterf***. On the note of clusterf***s, those were probably the most enjoyable times of the night when even at a twig breaking, all s*** gets lit up and plastic starts raining with totally indiscriminate kills followed by total silence again with dead lights popping up everywhere. Tan's passphrase worked well at least to where I was. Without a radio, I relied on it a lot as well as my own sense of where my teammates were. I'll agree, it was great for a kicks and giggles night game, but hey, isn't that what playing this game's all about?
Poncho
I had a great time. Got to try out my new fan which was disappointing. Thanks Joker for putting the game on, and for not killing me when I shot you despite the fact I could clearly see the red glowstick. Comms were very good on the green side, and even though I bowed out early the young guns did a fantastic job. All in all one of the best events I have been to yet. Hope to see yall again in the near future.
Jump Boots
What an awesome game! Thank you joker for hosting, it's always a pleasure to play at the home of Indiana airsoft. I'm glad I got to come out and play with many familiar faces and new one also. Delta and Walker gots some balls executing our "master plan" and that will always be one of my favorite memories. Anyways, 3 one way and 3 the other...1 - my visibility was great! Thanks joker for letting me use my gas mask2 - little to no attitude problems, which always makes playing that much more fun3 - master plan lol 1 - despite my visibility, it was still difficult to see, but why do you expect? It's a night game2 - friendly fire was high, and even I shot a bunch of my guys and I would like to apologize for that3 I didn't have a radio so I was one of the last people to learn what we were doing ( objectives n' such) and that made it confusing but I just goed with the flow. All in all it was an awesome game to come back to after about a year long hiatus. Thanks guys
KillCam
This was awesome, especially towards the very end with the Master Plan. Green team members that dropped early really missed out! Pros: 1. The Master Plan. Delta, Jump Boots, Walker, that was an epic tactical move.2. The nighttime psychological effect. That was intense.3. I've played at Joker's Circus so many times now I have the layout all memorized like it's second nature. Night was like day to me.4. 4 green vs. 10 tan at the end. That's how I like it . Cons:1. No rain.2. At the very end when tan was doing their final attack I was the only green member left, and was fending them off from taking our bottles, but then my gun went dead . Endex . Sarge
4. 4 green vs. 10 tan at the end. That's how I like it . I'm glad you thought that. Few had to seem many. In all honesty we were evenly matched the last hour.
