  1. Sweaty Sunday Pew IMPACT Open Play Date: 04AUG2019 Time: 12:00PM to 5:00PM Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Cost: Free Relaxed open play style games. Simple game types. The rules for this particular event will be very relaxed. We may or may not even chronograph weapons. Full seal eye protection is NOT required. However if you choose to wear shooting glasses I request that they at least have a retention strap. And if you still have not filled out an IMPACT waiver I do still need that. I noticed the lack of events so I'm trying to help out and give everyone another opportunity to pew pew. Feel free to use any props that are already out on the field for your games. As far as teams you guys can do green vs tan or just wear whatever you want and divide up on game day. *Fair Warning: Due to various issues Joker’s Circus has been very much neglected for quite some time. The weather hasn’t been kind, so needless to say the field is a bit of a mess. I’m trying to get some of it cleaned up as best as I can when I have the time, before this event. Vehicles with 4WD should park inside the gate. Guns should be kept out of sight of the road and passing traffic. Please pick up after yourself, I don't want to find a bunch of trash on the field. Carpool if possible. The last one who leaves closes the gates. I reserve the right to cancel this event due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Copy and past to add or remove yourself from the roster. Roster: (0) ~Joker
  2. Date: 03/18/17 Location: Joker's Circus Bloomington IN Cost: Free of course Time: Gates open at 11:00AM Objectives: Lend Joker a hand in helping get Joker's Circus airsoft field ready for the 2017 season. We will be repairing and building new structures on the field. Hopefully I can get a new bridge built and a few other things. I will be in need of supplies so even if you can't stay to help dropping off things we can use is also welcomed. Bring the wood, plywood, pallets, nails, screws, and any tools you may need. I obviously have some building materials already at the field. But more is always welcome. The potential is there for grilling out if anyone is interested. Any help at all is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. ~Joker
  3. IMPACT Open Play Date: 09/24/16 Time: 11:00AM to 5:00PM Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Cost: Free Relaxed open play style games. Simple game types. The rules for this particular event will be very relaxed. We will likely not chronograph weapons. Full seal eye protection is NOT required. However if you choose to wear shooting glasses I request that they at least have a retention strap. And if you still have not filled out a waiver I do still need that. Feel free to use any props that are already out on the field for your games. As far as teams you guys can do green vs tan or just wear whatever you want and divide up on game day. *The reason for the relaxed rule enforcement is because I will likely not be in attendance. So I am letting you regulate yourselves. "Letting the inmates run the madhouse" so to speak. I will be unlocking the gate and opening up the field for your use. Please don't abuse this. Vehicles with 4WD should park inside the gate. Guns should be kept out of sight of the road and passing traffic. Please pick up after yourself, I don't want to find a bunch of trash on the field. The last one who leaves closes the gates. I reserve the right to cancel this event due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Copy and past to add or remove yourself from the roster. But it will still be hot/humid out before the sun goes down later that evening so be prepared. And for those that remember previous years events that I have hosted it may or may not storm so also be prepared for that because I won't cancel unless its VERY bad out, the way I see it lightning is just a cool effect for the event. Suggestions on game day are very welcome. Our focus is on teaching new players new things, safety, and of course having fun. You will need to fill out an I.M.P.A.C.T. 6. IMPACT OP: redruM Join us for IMPACT's last event of the year! Date: Sunday December 6th (weather permitting) Time: Gates open at 9AM, games will begin at 10AM. Location: Joker's Circus on N. Curry Pike in Bloomington IN. Cost: $FREE This event is dependent on the weather and my schedule. So I reserve the right to change the date or cancel the event entirely at any time. Rules: Standard IMPACT rules will apply (IMPACT rules can be found on the IMPACT Forums). And if you do not already have a waiver on file with us you will need to print one out, fill it out, and bring it with you to the event. I would also recommend bringing radios to be able to receive objectives. No medics, 2 minute bleed out times. Once you are hit you call it, pull your death rag, take a knee and wait 2 minutes to bleed out. Then once that time has passed head to your teams respawn point and once there you may then rejoin the game (you don't have to wait any at your respawn). Gameplay: This will essentially be an open play style event with elements of basic MilSim thrown in. This event does not really have a backstory like other events but it does have a theme. The theme is winter, Xmas, & the movie The Shining. Dress warm and keep in mind the field will be bare this time of year. There is a 40 player event cap for this event (20 per team). I honestly don't expect to hit this cap but you never know. This is simply to keep things moving on this small and winter bare field. Cover will be scarce. So please keep me updated on the status of your attendance, meaning I don't need maybes I need yes or no. Teams: -Team 1 = Green and or Black camo -Team 2 = Tan and or White camo Roster: # (copy & paste to add or remove yourself to the roster) Team 1: # Team 2: # *Keep an eye on this main post for changes and updates. ~Joker

As soon as I get Hunters info I'll post it here but this is what I have so far. At a very young age Hunter was diagnosed with leukemia. He had been in remission for about ten years, A year or so ago he was diagnosed again, but that is the info I am waiting for. My co-workers son and Hunter started an airsoft team called the Elite Eight and there is a rival team they were supposed to "battle" but then Hunter got sick, So my goal is to try and get these two teams out here for the big "battle" and show Hunter and his family the airsoft community in Indiana is supporting them. Here is Hunters story from his aunt: Hunter Rohl is a vibrant 14 year old with a contagious smile, beautiful soul, and positive outlook on life. He was diagnosed with Acute Lympoblastic Leukemia in 2005, and endured over 3 years of Chemotherapy putting the leukemia into remission for the past 5 years. Hunter resumed his typical teenager life, spending his days playing video games, hunting and fishing, playing football and baseball, and just enjoying being a kid. Unfortunatlyit has been discovered that his leukemia has returned. Yet again Hunter must endure a second round of chemotherapy and an initial round of radiation. Surrounded by love and support of his friends and family, Hunter remains positive and his spirits are high despite his fear and pain. He is currently spending most of his free time laughing and joking around with his brothers and sisters, attempting to create some sort of normalcy amidst this nightmare. Together we will beat this leukemia for good, and we will remain HunterStrong.

  10. So I am a bit late with this but better to be late then never I guess... http://s55.photobucket.com/user/Joker_Airsoft/slideshow/IMPACT%20Noob%20Day%208%202014 ~Joker
  11. Firstly I would like to thank everyone for having good spirits with this type of game. I know when it become more of a "competition" things can get out of hand pretty quickly, but everyone handled themselves well. You were all good sports, thank you. This was a little different than your normal graybeards game with more milsim elements thrown in. It was a bit of an experiment to see how some of these elements would work. And all things considered I would say things played out well. Cons: Hit calling issues, more so than the last few IMPACT events. Some of you guys really need to work on your honesty and check the egos at the door. Overshooting. Some of you guys did get very trigger happy especially at close ranges. If you wouldn't like to be shot in the face at close range by a long full auto burst then why would you do the same to someone else? Its called trigger discipline for a reason. Games started later than even I had anticipated, my bad everyone. Team numbers were a bit unbalanced in the Eights favor. I got into a fight with a barbwire fence, while not fun I did win the fight. Pros: Both teams used Coms very well, I was very impressed by the Eights. Everyone seemed to enjoy the game type and objectives and seemed to have fun. Weather I really hope everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves. Thanks for coming out. I will post the few pics I took when I get the chance. Oh and before I forget... after the card counts which favored the Aces, the objectives captured which by one favored the Eights, and the flag stations after all the back and forth ended up about even. So the winners are...both teams, it was a draw. Although I would have to give the edge to the Eights due to their numbers I would say they held 3/4 of the field a good portion of the day. Great job by both teams, you both put up one hell of a fight. ~Joker
  12. IMPACT's OP: Aces and Eights -The Battle of the Ages!- Date: Saturday May 10th 2014 Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Time: Gates open at 10:00AM. Game will start at 11:00am and run until about 5:00PM. No breaks, continuous play so plan accordingly. Cost: FREE (Sorry no patches this time) Game play is going to be something like basic MilSim with other elements thrown in. For those of you familiar with COD think "Kill Confirmed". Each team will need to designate a CO and choose two medics. Be ready for cards or poker themed objectives. Hopefully there will be a clear winner one way or the other for bragging rights, but of course the Aces will win. In the spirit of this event, tasteful trash talk and propaganda will be allowed in this thread. If it gets out of hand or becomes to personal it will be dealt with by myself or other AI staff members. Keep it fun. IMPACT skirmish rules will apply: http://www.impactairsoft98.com/historyrules.htm A reminder to all that Full Seal Goggles are required. The age cut off for teams will be 21. But this is subject to change to help balance teams. A radio is highly recommended. Bring lots of water. Bring food and snacks (I might fire up the grill) Bug spray is HIGHLY recommended. Event attendance will capped at 40 players, 20 per team. (This is subject to change) Mag limits: Unlimited low caps, standard mags, and mid caps. If you are using a high cap mag you may only carry one mag. For this event Multicam is considered Tan. More event details may be provided and added in here at a later time. But you will get more specifics on game day. When signing up, don't forget to tell me what team you will be on. Don't assume I know your age lol. I also need the callsigns/names of any +1s you may be bringing along. I am going to try to stick to the 40 players cap as best as I can. 13. Hey everyone. So I was going to wait until the AI meeting to mention this but I guess there is no real need to wait. As some of you may know here lately I have had my hands full with a lot of things going on. Mostly positive things but very stressful at the same time. There have been lots of changes at work (I am celebrating my 1 year mark this month), my girlfriend and I are expecting a baby girl in July, and I am in the process of buying a house. That last one is the most stressful, time consuming, and mostly the reason I am posting this. With all of this going on I don't have much time for airsoft, or not as much time as I would like. Nor do I have any extra spending money for big events or traveling to games far away (or any $ left at all lol). But I do not want my lack of time for playing airsoft or hosting games to affect anyone else's play time. Now this is not exactly anything new really, its more of a reminder. If any of you out there, whether it be individuals or teams would like to use the Circus to host games, skirmishes, events, team practices, or anything else please don't hesitate to ask. I will try my best to accommodate you as best as I can. Keeping in mind that chances are I will not be in attendance all that I ask is that you send me a PM giving me as much notice as you can. Not only does that help me out but it helps you get more attendance. Try to pick a date that is not already being used by an in-state or out of state game. In the PM I would like the prospective date you want to host and as much game info as you can (event type). I don't need every detail I just need to know what you are trying to host. I would also like to say that I can not guarantee that I will give you the "OK" every time, I may already have something going on or I just know that date won't work for what ever reason. And I will try to answer your PM as quickly as I can, but again keep in mind that I am not on here as much as I would like as of late so it might be a bit. I would also expect you to enforce skirmish rules, clean up after everyone, and lock the gate up after you are done. Also if you plan to chrono weapons you will more than likely have to bring your own. If you guys have any questions feel free to post them up and ask. ~Joker

But it will still be hot/humid out before the sun goes down later that evening so be prepared. July is also always a super busy month for me so be prepared for a date change. And for those that remember previous years events that I have hosted it may or may not storm lol so also be prepared for that because I won't cancel unless its VERY bad out, the way I see it lightning is just a cool effect for the event. There is a good chance of food afters at a local restaurant and if any of you wish to camp out so you don't have to drive home in the middle of the night let me know in advance. LOCATION: Joker's Circus, Bloomington IN And just a friendly warning, I would study the IMPACT Skirmish rules before you arrive because there is a good chance of a quiz! http://www.freewebs....istoryrules.htm This game will be FREE. But we will be “passing the hat” around for donations to I.M.P.A.C.T. field improvements. We would very much appreciate any donations you give us. That money will go towards bringing you better games in the future. We will be doing very simple games such as “Death Matches” and possibly “Capture the Flag”. Suggestions on game day are very welcome. Our focus is on teaching new players new things and of course fun. You will need to fill out an I.M.P.A.C.T. Waiver if you don’t already have one on file. If you’re under 18 years of age a parent must sign the waiver also. You can find the waiver here: http://airsoftindian...splay&thread=72 *Noobs you will need the following: -FULL SEAL EYE PROTECTION! -A full face mask is highly recommended -Red/White Death Rag -If possible Airsoft weapons of some kind -Airsoft bbs of some kind and batteries for your AEG -If possible Camo of some kind -Water is a must and food/snacks are highly recommended -Bug Spray -Comfortable boots -A positive attitude and willingness to learn +Note these are the basics feel free to bring anything else you may want or need to play. If you’re planning on attending please post it here as well as your team’s name if you’re on a team as well as any friends that you might bring. Camo & Teams: Wear what ever you would like (NO RED OR WHITE for obvious reasons). If you have camo wear it. If you do not, or you are bringing someone who does not own camo, no problems. If your team or group of friends want to wear matching camo to help you tell who is who, feel free to do so. More then likely we will NOT be using any kind of team identification. Part of airsoft is learning to ID your targets. BUT this year we would like to make the process of splitting into teams a little faster then previous years. So when signing up for this event please tell us what team you wish to be on, Team 1 or Team 2. *A note to all “veterans” that plan on attending; please bring any extra goggles, weapons, and ammo that you can. 18. So last years OP: Chill & Grill was a success. There were only about 15+ people there but we got a lot accomplished, gun repair wise. I know I had fun so lets see what happens this year shall we? That is IF we all survive the end of the world... Date: January 12th 2013 (Date subject to change due to bad weather) Time: Starts at 11AM and goes until everyone decides to leave. Location: 4110 W. Woodyard Road Bloomington IN 47404 My Grandma's garage, has wood stove. (Near the Circus, same place as last year.) Cost: Free. Bring food you wish to have cooked by Vacceo. Bring other food items such as sides, condiments, drinks etc... Purpose: For those of you needing to fix broken weapons, work on a project gun, or down grade your new presents from Santa so they shoot under a desired FPS, this event is for you. The purpose of this event is to learn how to fix or repair your weapons. There will be experienced gun techs there to help you, but you will be doing the repairs yourself. You can work on props you want to use for your future games. Show up just to help others fix their weapons. You can also bring family, friends, wives/husbands, girlfriends/boyfriends and just come to hang out and eat food if you do not need to fix a weapon. I think this is pretty self explanatory but just a few reminders: -You will be working on your own weapons -You will need to bring any and all tools with you to work on your weapons -You need to bring any and all parts you need to fix your weapons -Bring a chair or you will be standing -Bring some kind of table to work on if you can -You and you alone will be held responsible for the condition of your weapon -Bring a death rag to use as a good work surface (keeps those tiny screws from disappearing) -Bring your own eating utensils -I may or may not bring a chronograph Lastly we (Vacceo) will be grilling food, more then likely something cheap and easy (hotdogs). Fill free to bring things you want cooked, or other foods and drinks as well. I may also order pizza (Pizza X). I will provide some plates, cups, & plastic silverware. Donations are very appreciated. -Those that attended last years event know that I had one large table for everyone to use and a couple chairs. I have also since then added a new wooden "work bench" that is about 8 feet long for you to use as well. But if you have a small table you would like to bring, feel free. There is also a wood stove in the garage so you will be warm, but dress accordingly. Much like at the Circus parking is very limited, so please carpool as much as you can. Thanks. 19. I guess its time for a little update. So I have not been quite as active online as I normally am on here, meaning I have not been online 24/7 like I usually am nor posting as much. The reasons being is that I am working a lot lately and I dont get online much after I am off work, I spend all day staring at a computer screen. I have my hands full with my girlfriend and her 9 month old. Plus I have been spending a little more time on the IMPACT forums with team communications and planning. I actually spend more time on here while I am at work then I do when im off (typing this from work now lol). But I am still on here reading, answering PMs, and posting when needed. So if you guys need to get ahold of me you can, or you can call/text if you have my number. Also for those of you who do not know I ended up totalling my truck on New Years Day. I was taking some back roads home, it had just snowed and no one had plowed those roads yet. They are very hilly and steep. Not my brightest idea, needless to say. I ended up fishtailing back and forth down hill until I got to the bottom and hit black ice and flew off the road into some trees. So the front of my truck was pancaked. I am completely fine other then some soreness. I didn't even hit the airbags when they went off. I jumped out of the truck and had to run 1/2 mile up the road just to get cell signal. Anyways my reason for telling you all this is that I now need to spend money I dont have on a vehicle. So this might put a damper of my traveling to airsoft games or speding money on airsoft for the time being. Now with all that negativity being said, I am very much looking forward to my 15th year of airsoft! I still cant believe I have been doing this for that damn long. I know this is "play army bb gun warz" and just a hobby for most but I am very proud of the fact that I have stuck around for 15 years. I dont know to many people that do anything for that length of time let alone a hobby like this. I have seen a lot change from airsoft tech and guns to the Indiana airsoft community as a whole or even IMPACT over the years. I would like to think that I am not just hanging around but have had a positive influence on the Indiana airsoft community over the last 15 years. Whether its been hosting countless games, attending even more, helping new players on and off the field, helping start new teams, helping host games, or answering those noob questions over and over again lol. And whether you know it or not I am a very large reason why most of you are even here in the first place lol. And its hard to believe where we are now compaired to where we once were. Small skirmishes with spring guns to 100+ player MilSims. I am very proud to be a part of Airsoft Indiana. Shooting at and with you guys has given me so much joy, the fun and endless memories are something I wouldn't trade for anything. Now as far as my plans for this year or years to come... I want to have fun. I mean I am celebrating after all. I may not host nearly as many games as I normally do this year. But that is because I plan to attend as many other games as I possibly can. Now IMPACT may host games and pick up my slack but I will have minimal involvement. I do have a plan or two up my sleeve that is currently *Secret Squirrel* so we will see how that all pans out. Near death experiences aside I have no plans to go anywhere anytime soon, even if my online activity seems to slow down a bit. I have never taken a break from airsoft, so why start now? I VERY much look forward to attending some great airsoft games with you all this year. Thanks for putting up with me for so long. ~Joker
  20. Date: October 13th 2012 Location: Joker's Circus Bloomington Indiana Cost: Free Timeline: Game starts at 2PM and ends at 7PM. End time is approximate. Rules: IMPACT skirmish rules apply unless otherwise noted. An IMPACT waiver is needed if you have not already filled out one. http://www.impactair...istoryrules.htm Full seal ANSI rated goggles must be worn at all times by all players. All guns must shoot 350 FPS and under. Semi auto is preferred. 200 rounds total (~2 AEG midcaps) per person. Grenades that shower bbs are allowed, one per player. Zombies when hit will take a knee for 30 seconds (counted out loud) then may resume play as a zombie. Zombies can run but must be careful. A zombie touching a survivor indicates "infection" and then turns that survivor into a zombie for the duration of that round. When a survivor is turned he can ether set his weapons down somewhere or he can just sling them. There is a 30 second "bleed out" time (must be counted out loud) before a turned player can resume play as a zombie. "Boss Zombies" must be killed using special means which will be told to the survivors when needed. No gun? No problem! Given the game's severe resource deprivation and fps restrictions, we are allowing the use of staff approved LARP-safe melee weapons. Boffer/foam/latex/nerf weapons are allowed. Rubber knives will not be permitted. One squad will act as survivors to try and complete all objectives while all other squads will act as zombies. Once a squad has finished, the game will reset and the next squad will be rotated in. All players will be both zombies and survivors (unless you want to be a zombie only). *If all squads complete the course and we finish "early" then we may give those who failed another attemp or we will play skirmish type games until everyone is done playing. -I am sure I am forgetting a few things so feel free to ask questions. Teams: ~8 persons per squad Team 1: Hrturner Eagle Beastmug KillCam Simic+1 Mech Cygnus ILL Freak Team 2: Rogue Grenade Cowboy Noxtoof Lumpless sn1ped34 gtwr60000 +2 Team 3: Zigg +6 Shepard Spartan Team 4: Crimson Seth Vacceo Silent Shot Guardian Nick? 21. July 21st 2012 Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Games start at 12pm Free I know this is kind of last minute but I think I am going to try and get some work done on the field this Saturday. So I figured you guys might also like to shoot at each other (or help me if it is needed) while I am out there. No camo requirements and game types will be simple skirmishes (or what ever you guys want to try). Feel free to bring pallets or spare wood or screws if you want (I wont say no to donations). I think I will be out there rain or shine. IMPACT skirmish rules do apply. Full seal goggles are NOT required for this game. So you can wear ANSI rated shooting glasses and or Stamped Steel goggles. ~Joker
  22. CANCELLED. OK as much as I hate to do this, some things have come up that need to take priority over airsoft (I know shocking, bet you never thought you would see me type that lol). Not to mention with this weekends weather I am afraid we may have some heat casualties with players out in ghillie suits. So I am going to have to cancel and or postpone this event until the weather is a little more sniper friendly. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. ~Joker
  23. OP: HIGH IMPACT VII 2012 http://www.freewebs.com/ophighimpact/ Date: Sunday May 6th 2012 Location: The Circus in Bloomington IN. Fee: $5 per person paid at the gate or via paypal to Joker_airsoft@yahoo.com Time: Game BEGINS @ 10:00am and ends @ 6:00pm (8 Hours!) Intel: Last year the Special Forces Anti-Terrorist Unit went to the ever dangerous Burma to try and stop the terrorist group known as the Freedom Militants. The UN has spent the last few years tracking this mysterious group of FM down to the jungles of Burma (just North of Thailand). Burma is known for its 50+ years of long and bloody civil war. Kill or be killed is an everyday part of the lives of those who inhabit Burma. The UN believes that the FM are there to recruit more members into their terrorist organization or possibly form an alliance, while distributing drugs and trafficking weapons and people on the side for profits to help fund their terrorism. After months of Intel and information the UN has deemed this situation extremely dangerous for the entire world, especially considering their current location. UAVs have also captured pictures of possible Nuclear SAMs (Surface to Air Missiles) and other WMDs. The UN can not afford to let the FM attempt another terrorist attack anywhere in the world. The UN is sending in Special Forces immediately to counter and stop this situation before it escalates and another terrorist attack occurs. Special Forces troops will be dropped in behind enemy lines in a very dangerous and hostile environment. Not only will the SF soldiers be fighting the FM but possibly the civilian / militia as well. You may attempt to establish an alliance or gain Intel from the civilian / militia if you so choose. They may be bribed. They may or may not be friendly and should be considered dangerous until proven otherwise. We do not know if they can be fully trusted. This may be the UN’s last chance to stop the FM’s acts of terrorism. If this mission is a failure the FM could escape and continue their destructive ways across the world. And the UN does not want any more blood on its hands. ...End transmission... This event will follow IMPACT Skirmish rules. Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to participate in this game unless otherwise approved by Joker. Special Rules: (Insert Player Kit) -Bring EVERYTHING you will need to play for eight (8) hours of NON STOP airsoft onto the battle field w/ you. Extra gear will be stored at your teams FOB/respawn, so if you need to, write your name on your stuff. Do not leave the playing area unless it is an emergency and in which case a cease fire may be ordered. -If you need to leave the field you must tell a staff member (IMPACT). -You must meet the BDU requirements for your team. -Bring your lunch/snacks onto the field w/ you. You can keep them at your teams FOB/respawn until your ready to eat. If you do not want to be shot at while eating wear your red death rag. -Bring lots of water! -Bring your radio and headset. -Bring your red or white “death rags”. -Bring a watch so you can manage your bleed out and respawn times. -Members of I.M.P.A.C.T. may be split onto both teams to insure fair play during the game and they may switch sides or don an orange/yellow referee vest at anytime during game play. Do not shoot at individuals wearing an orange or yellow vest. -Since there is no before game briefing you may be quizzed about event rules prior to entering the field. So make sure you have read and understand ALL event rules. If you have any questions ask. -If you see props anywhere on the field and you do not know what they are being used for or you do not know what to do w/ them DO NOT TOUCH THEM or radio your CO and ask first. -Dead players can NOT reload. Medic Rules: “Masking Tape Method” Medics will receive a roll of masking tape. When a player is hit they must place their red rag on their heads and wait for a medic. There is a 5 minute bleed out time. When you are bleeding out you may only talk of you are calling for a medic, thats it dead men dont talk. If a medic can not reach you in 5 minutes you must return to your spawn point and wait another 5 minutes before entering back into the game. If a medic can get to you before you bleed out he can heal you by wrapping the tape around your upper arm. Once you have tape on both arms (healed twice) you must return to your respawn upon your third death and wait 5 minutes. You can take all the tape off your arms and the count restarts.
