  1. https://facebook.com/events/s/impact-op-aces-eights-4/830484575679411/ IMPACT OP: Aces & Eights 4 IMPACT & Joker’s Circus Airsoft Field presents: OP: Aces & Eights 4 -The Battle of the Ages!- Date: Saturday August 24th 2024 Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN (39.192064, -86.578140) Time: Be there and ready to go by 10:30AM. Game will START at 11:00AM and run until about 4:00PM. No breaks, you will stay on the field for continuous play so plan accordingly. Cost: $FREE IMPACT Skirmish Rules: https://airsoftindiana.proboards.com/thread/79/skirmish-rules[/url] IMPACT Waiver: http://airsoftindiana.proboards.com/thread/72/release-form *Background: The highly anticipated (I hope) sequel event to the popular and fun OP: Aces & Eights hosted by IMPACT. Now last time this was a close battle throughout most of the day. Then fatigue struck the Eights due to the heat and the Aces took advantage and dealt some heavy hits. After all the smoke cleared and all the hands were played out the Aces were victorious. Can the Eights reshuffle this time and get revenge? Or will the Aces deal them another Dead Man's Hand? You decide! Who's going all in!? ...sorry got a little carried away with all the poker puns. Game play is going to be something like introductory MilSim with other elements thrown in for fun. For those of you familiar with COD think "Kill Confirmed". Be ready for cards or poker themed objectives. Hopefully there will be a clear winner one way or the other for bragging rights, but of course the Aces will win. 😉 *Other Rules: -IMPACT skirmish rules will apply. This event will be semi auto only. Unless you use a designated Support Weapon. For example: M60, M249, etc. FPS & MED's: 0-400FPS 1.5 Joules (5ft MED) 400-450FPS 1.87 Joules (50ft MED) 450-550FPS 2.32 Joules (100ft MED) All snipers must carry a secondary weapon that shoots 400FPS and under. A reminder to all that Full Seal Goggles are required. Bring a death rag. If you do not have one, more than likely you will be over shot. The age cut off for teams will be 21. But this is subject to change day of to help balance teams. A radio is recommended. Bring lots of water. Bring food and snacks (no breaks so you will eat on the field). Bug spray is HIGHLY recommended. Clean up after yourself. Bring a positive attitude and your war face. *Magazine limits: Unlimited low caps, standard mags, and mid caps. If you are using a high cap mag you may only carry one mag. Unless you are using a designated Support Weapon. For this event Multicam is considered Tan. More event details may be provided and added in here at a later time. But you will get more specifics on game day. When signing up, don't forget to tell me what team you will be on. 21 years or older is Aces (tan), 20 years old and younger is Eights (green). Don't assume I know your age, at times I can barely remember mine lol. I also need the callsigns/names of any +1s you may be bringing along. *For your first objective: Each team will need to designate a CO, XO, and choose two medics. A Chain of command or CoC and squads can be set up by your team's leadership. Missions will be given to your team's leadership and passed down to everyone else so choose wisely. Roster: -Aces (Tan based camo) 21 and older: -Eights (Green based camo) 20 and younger: ~Joker
  2. I must apologize for the lateness of the event posting, school has been heckin' me hard recently... 3/10/17 - Operation Spring Cleaning II THIS EVENT IS BOTH AIRSOFT GAME AND A BUY/SELL/TRADE DAY Billy Mays here back at it again with the Operation: Spring Cleaning Find some of that old airsoft gear while digging through the back of your truck?? Realized you never even knew it was missing, and therefor not even wanting to keep it? Or maybe last year you saw somebody trade in their jams-alot, pot metal M4 with enough accesories for it to belong on the fashion runway and not on the field for a glorious E&L AK made out of glorious election-interfering Russian steel. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE, come to buy/sell/trade and ALSO dominate the field with your new HPA'd Squorpion EVO And ALL THIS for only $10 at the AI's own Joker's Circus! Scenario: "Rainbow Six” Counter Terrorism Unit. Their job is to clean out a new russian cell lead by Ex-Six Operative Vladmir Ivanov. The cell has rooted itself in the forests of the Congo. Team Rainbow must move in and eliminate the opposing force and recover any intel pertaining to the cell's operations and networks Where: Joker's Circus Address: 2799 N Curry Pike, Bloomington, IN 47404 Cost: $10 Hosted by: "Third Group" Indiana OpFor Timeline- 900: Gates Open 900-1050: Check in and Chrono 1050: Pre-Briefing 1100: Deployment 1130: Game1 start 1630: Game1 endex 1630-1730: B/S/T 1730-??? GUNS WILL BE SPOT CHECKED FPS limits and MED (measured with provided .2 gram BBs) 0ft: <350fps - Green Zip Tie 10ft: 350-400fps - Yellow Zip Tie 40ft: 401-45fps PERMANENT SEMI AUTO - Red Zip Tie 80ft: 451-550fps Bolt Action only - Black Zip Tie (no sidearm, no sniper) 100ft: 550-600 Bolt Action (over 18 w/ Admin Approval) - Red + Black Ziptie (no sidearm, no sniper) *There will be NO BANG KILLS allowed (come up behind someone and its a courtesy kill). If you are point blank, aim below center-mass. If your rifle shoots over 350 FPS, you must carry a sidearm if you want to engage at closer ranges. No blind firing, be respectful to other players. Additional Rules: 1. Event will be Semi-Auto only. however realistic replicas of support guns are allowed to go Full Auto 2. Magazine Restrictions: If using Hi-Cap mags, you are limited to (1) magazine. There are no restrictions on the number of Mid-Cap, Standard, or Low-Cap mags. Drum and box mags limited to only LMGs and HMGs (i.e. no M4s with drum mags). 2. Medic Rules: You will be given a rope to tie to your gear. Each time you are revived, the medic will tie a knot. After 3 Knots, you walk back to your spawn area. Medics have to contact you for 60!seconds to revive. Medics nor player can shoot while reviving. Players can be moved up to 50 feet if (1) player has full contact of the dead player. Medics will be assigned, they will remain a medic all day and no additional medics can be assigned except by an Event Organizer directly (no floating medic roles). Dead men DO NOT TALK. 3. Full Seal ANSI Rated goggles are required and must be worn at all times while on the field. Please plan accordingly. Waiver must be on file in order to use facility as well. Must be signed day of event. IF UNDER 18 – YOUR PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST SIGN YOUR WAIVER. 4. Bring lots of water! 6. Squad conduct on the field: While some players want to be Super-Delta-Elite-Ranger-Squad and feel the urge to yell out orders at random players constantly, most of us are just here to have fun with our friends. Running around barking orders at random players may fill your power fantasy but it equates to a bad day for everyone else. On the flip side, listen to your squad and team leads. More gets done when everyone is on the same page. 7. Blind Man can/will be called in the event of a real world emergency. Everyone must take their mags out and empty their gun and pause the game. 8. Normal Multicam, ACU, Hunting Camo, and solid colors/Civi (unless green or tan) will be given Blue or Orange fluorescent duct-tape to identify team. Multicam Arid if fine for tan, Multicam Tropic is good for Green 9. If there is an issue with a player please find a ref, describe the problem, describe the player and leave it to the refs to sort out. Yelling at someone from across the field will not solve anything! 10. Those with 4x4's please park inside the gate, this is to reduce the number of cars on the side of the road. 11. Bring your own table should you wish to sell your stuff (we will have an area watched by refs where you can set up your table and your stuff) Honor/Integrety checks will be done throughout the day. We reserve the right to kick you off the field should you violate the rules. Be honest, play right, we don't want to have to, but if you are causing problems you will be asked to leave. THIS EVENT IS BOTH AIRSOFT GAME AND A BUY/SELL/TRADE DAY
  3. Date: 03/18/17 Location: Joker's Circus Bloomington IN Cost: Free of course Time: Gates open at 11:00AM Objectives: Lend Joker a hand in helping get Joker's Circus airsoft field ready for the 2017 season. We will be repairing and building new structures on the field. Hopefully I can get a new bridge built and a few other things. I will be in need of supplies so even if you can't stay to help dropping off things we can use is also welcomed. Bring the wood, plywood, pallets, nails, screws, and any tools you may need. I obviously have some building materials already at the field. But more is always welcome. The potential is there for grilling out if anyone is interested. Any help at all is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. ~Joker
  4. IMPACT Open Play Date: 09/24/16 Time: 11:00AM to 5:00PM Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Cost: Free Relaxed open play style games. Simple game types. The rules for this particular event will be very relaxed. We will likely not chronograph weapons. Full seal eye protection is NOT required. However if you choose to wear shooting glasses I request that they at least have a retention strap. And if you still have not filled out a waiver I do still need that. Feel free to use any props that are already out on the field for your games. As far as teams you guys can do green vs tan or just wear whatever you want and divide up on game day. *The reason for the relaxed rule enforcement is because I will likely not be in attendance. So I am letting you regulate yourselves. "Letting the inmates run the madhouse" so to speak. I will be unlocking the gate and opening up the field for your use. Please don't abuse this. Vehicles with 4WD should park inside the gate. Guns should be kept out of sight of the road and passing traffic. Please pick up after yourself, I don't want to find a bunch of trash on the field. The last one who leaves closes the gates. I reserve the right to cancel this event due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Copy and past to add or remove yourself from the roster. 5. OP: Dark Night 4 hosted by IMPACT Date: Saturday August 6th 2016 Time: Gates open at ~5:00PM Games start at 7:00PM and runs to Midnight or later (no breaks) Location: Joker’s Circus Bloomington IN (Check the Member Map for location) Cost: $5 per person to be paid on game day Game Type: This game will be of easy and moderate level that all airsoft players will be able to handle. There will be small elements of MilSim thrown in to keep things challenging for the “veteran” players. Being a night game it will have its own challenges and dangers. Purpose: First and foremost we want you to have fun! Consider this a Noob Day for night events. This is your chance to practice your night fighting skills and use the night time kit you have laying around. Things like stealth, movement, communications, night psychological warfare, use of night time weapon accessories (weapon light discipline), and night tactics will be the focus. Story/ Intel: A Special Ops team is being assembled to eliminate and contain a potential radioactive threat. UAVs have shown that a terrorist cell operating in [insert country name here] are gathering and testing radioactive and nuclear weapons. The Special Ops team does not have permission to cross any borders and the media claims that there are no terrorist cells operating in the country. So this mission will be off record and any incidents that may occur will be buried. Rules: ALL IMPACT Skirmish Rules will apply. Full Seal ANSI rated goggles are required for this event. (No shooting glasses) 400FPS MAX on ALL weapons. Measured with a .20g bb. YOU MUST HAVE A RED GLOW STICK! This replaces your red death rag. Any lights, lasers, and night vision are allowed. Radios and tracer units are highly encouraged. No ammo or mag restrictions. No medics or bleed outs, once you are killed you return to your teams respawn point, wait 5 minutes then return to the game. Teams: Green vs. Tan & Black (gear color does not matter) Special Ops (Green) Terrorists (Tan and Black) *July/August is a very hot month which is why this is a night game. But it will still be hot/humid out before the sun goes down later that evening so be prepared. And for those that remember previous years events that I have hosted it may or may not storm so also be prepared for that because I won't cancel unless its VERY bad out, the way I see it lightning is just a cool effect for the event. If any of you wish to camp out so you don't have to drive home in the middle of the night let me know in advance. 6. IMPACT Noob Day 10! Attention noobs! Here is your (or your friends) chance to get out and play! I.M.P.A.C.T. is hosting its annual Noob Day in Bloomington IN. Maybe you are trying to get some friends interested in playing airsoft, then this is your game. JUST REMEMBER YOUR FULL SEAL EYE PROTECTION! Not only will this be a great day for playing Airsoft and trigger time but also learning about Airsoft and players in AI. Parents are also welcome to learn/observe/play. Please bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. DATE: Saturday April 23rd 2016 TIME: Get there no later than 10AM. Games will begin @ 11AM sharp. We will play until at least 5PM or until everyone gets tired of shooting at each other. LOCATION: Joker's Circus, Bloomington IN COST: $ FREE And just a friendly warning, I would study the IMPACT Skirmish rules before you arrive because there is a good chance of a quiz! http://airsoftindiana.proboards.com/thread/79/skirmish-rules We will be doing very simple games such as “Death Matches” and possibly “Capture the Flag”. Suggestions on game day are very welcome. Our focus is on teaching new players new things, safety, and of course having fun. You will need to fill out an I.M.P.A.C.T. Waiver if you don’t already have one on file. If you’re under 18 years of age a parent must sign the waiver also. You can find the waiver here: http://airsoftindiana.proboards.com/thread/72/release-form *Noobs you will need the following: -FULL SEAL EYE PROTECTION! -A full face mask is highly recommended -Red/White Death Rag -If possible Airsoft weapons of some kind -Airsoft bbs of some kind and batteries for your AEG -If possible Camo of some kind -Water is a must and food/snacks are highly recommended -Bug Spray -Comfortable boots -A positive attitude and willingness to learn +Note these are the basics feel free to bring anything else you may want or need to play. Please bring your friends that may be interested in playing Airsoft seriously and on a regular basis. We wish that you be at least 13 years of age, although we won’t be asking for you age. If you’re planning on attending please post it here as well as your team’s name if you’re on a team as well as any friends that you might bring. Camo & Teams: Wear what ever you would like (NO RED OR WHITE for obvious reasons). If you have camo wear it. If you do not, or you are bringing someone who does not own camo, no problems. If your team or group of friends want to wear matching camo to help you tell who is who, feel free to do so. More then likely we will NOT be using any kind of team identification. Part of airsoft is learning to ID your targets. BUT this year we would like to make the process of splitting into teams a little faster then previous years. So when signing up for this event please tell us what team you wish to be on, Team 1 or Team 2. *A note to all “veterans” that plan on attending; please bring any extra goggles, weapons, and ammo that you can. 7. IMPACT OP: redruM Join us for IMPACT's last event of the year! Date: Sunday December 6th (weather permitting) Time: Gates open at 9AM, games will begin at 10AM. Location: Joker's Circus on N. Curry Pike in Bloomington IN. Cost: $FREE This event is dependent on the weather and my schedule. So I reserve the right to change the date or cancel the event entirely at any time. Rules: Standard IMPACT rules will apply (IMPACT rules can be found on the IMPACT Forums). And if you do not already have a waiver on file with us you will need to print one out, fill it out, and bring it with you to the event. I would also recommend bringing radios to be able to receive objectives. No medics, 2 minute bleed out times. Once you are hit you call it, pull your death rag, take a knee and wait 2 minutes to bleed out. Then once that time has passed head to your teams respawn point and once there you may then rejoin the game (you don't have to wait any at your respawn). Gameplay: This will essentially be an open play style event with elements of basic MilSim thrown in. This event does not really have a backstory like other events but it does have a theme. The theme is winter, Xmas, & the movie The Shining. Dress warm and keep in mind the field will be bare this time of year. There is a 40 player event cap for this event (20 per team). I honestly don't expect to hit this cap but you never know. This is simply to keep things moving on this small and winter bare field. Cover will be scarce. So please keep me updated on the status of your attendance, meaning I don't need maybes I need yes or no. Teams: -Team 1 = Green and or Black camo -Team 2 = Tan and or White camo Roster: # (copy & paste to add or remove yourself to the roster) Team 1: # Team 2: # *Keep an eye on this main post for changes and updates. ~Joker
  8. IMPACT's OP: Aces and Eights -The Battle of the Ages!- Date: Saturday May 10th 2014 Location: Joker's Circus in Bloomington IN Time: Gates open at 10:00AM. Game will start at 11:00am and run until about 5:00PM. No breaks, continuous play so plan accordingly. Cost: FREE (Sorry no patches this time) Game play is going to be something like basic MilSim with other elements thrown in. For those of you familiar with COD think "Kill Confirmed". Each team will need to designate a CO and choose two medics. Be ready for cards or poker themed objectives. Hopefully there will be a clear winner one way or the other for bragging rights, but of course the Aces will win. In the spirit of this event, tasteful trash talk and propaganda will be allowed in this thread. If it gets out of hand or becomes to personal it will be dealt with by myself or other AI staff members. Keep it fun. IMPACT skirmish rules will apply: http://www.impactairsoft98.com/historyrules.htm A reminder to all that Full Seal Goggles are required. The age cut off for teams will be 21. 9. Hey everyone. So I was going to wait until the AI meeting to mention this but I guess there is no real need to wait. As some of you may know here lately I have had my hands full with a lot of things going on. Mostly positive things but very stressful at the same time. There have been lots of changes at work (I am celebrating my 1 year mark this month), my girlfriend and I are expecting a baby girl in July, and I am in the process of buying a house. That last one is the most stressful, time consuming, and mostly the reason I am posting this. With all of this going on I don't have much time for airsoft, or not as much time as I would like. Nor do I have any extra spending money for big events or traveling to games far away (or any $ left at all lol). But I do not want my lack of time for playing airsoft or hosting games to affect anyone else's play time. Now this is not exactly anything new really, its more of a reminder. If any of you out there, whether it be individuals or teams would like to use the Circus to host games, skirmishes, events, team practices, or anything else please don't hesitate to ask. I will try my best to accommodate you as best as I can. Keeping in mind that chances are I will not be in attendance all that I ask is that you send me a PM giving me as much notice as you can. Not only does that help me out but it helps you get more attendance. Try to pick a date that is not already being used by an in-state or out of state game. In the PM I would like the prospective date you want to host and as much game info as you can (event type). I don't need every detail I just need to know what you are trying to host. I would also like to say that I can not guarantee that I will give you the "OK" every time, I may already have something going on or I just know that date won't work for what ever reason. And I will try to answer your PM as quickly as I can, but again keep in mind that I am not on here as much as I would like as of late so it might be a bit. I would also expect you to enforce skirmish rules, clean up after everyone, and lock the gate up after you are done. Also if you plan to chrono weapons you will more than likely have to bring your own. If you guys have any questions feel free to post them up and ask. ~Joker

LOCATION: Joker's Circus, Bloomington IN And just a friendly warning, I would study the IMPACT Skirmish rules before you arrive because there is a good chance of a quiz! http://www.freewebs....istoryrules.htm This game will be FREE. But we will be “passing the hat” around for donations to I.M.P.A.C.T. field improvements. We would very much appreciate any donations you give us. That money will go towards bringing you better games in the future. We will be doing very simple games such as “Death Matches” and possibly “Capture the Flag”. Suggestions on game day are very welcome. Our focus is on teaching new players new things and of course fun. You will need to fill out an I.M.P.A.C.T. Waiver if you don’t already have one on file. If you’re under 18 years of age a parent must sign the waiver also. You can find the waiver here: http://airsoftindian...splay&thread=72 *Noobs you will need the following: -FULL SEAL EYE PROTECTION! It will help make the day go by much better.
