Didn't realize they were still open to doing airsoft after the photography fiasco. I've got my eye on this one though; field was nice with the exception of some of their refs. Not sure if they'd let us provide EOs.

STORYLINE KICKSTART 1
Resources… Resources are what wars are fought for, not freedom, not the right thing, it’s for resources.

Ever since the economic collapse of 2015 the Federal government has been taking land from the people, with or without force. The last that resisted was a small Colorado town that was sitting on an oil reserve. In one day over 200 of the men, women and children who resisted were slaughtered. They had no help from their state, just left to the greedy hands of politicians and the muzzles of the federal force’s guns.

Most states have submitted to the power and threats of the federal government. Except Texas, Alaska, Indiana, and Washington state. Only protected by the local militia and the National Guard, these states are all that’s left of “the land of the free”.

Indiana now surrounded is the only state left on the east side of the country that resists. They have done well holding their borders and protecting the free people, but a threat is growing. Residence of a small area called Camp Arthur have reported men dressed in federal gear taking samples and measurements. The two park rangers have gone missing and the villagers are now in fear of a pending attack. Worst of all the leaders of the local establishments have been talking to the feds spotted shaking hands exchanging coin and jokes.

The local militia has captured a federal captain and has gathered information via waterboarding that in a matter of weeks the invasion force will take the camp and make it their FOB for the forceful takeover of the last eastern state to resist. Rumors are that the camp has more than just water, but also contains massive deposits of natural gas and oil, perfect for the federal forces to use in production for fuel in their massive war machines. The local National Guard in the city of Vincennes has requested reinforcements to help defend camp Arthur and the city from the pending attack. But the forces are limited because of the massive amounts of refugees in the city.

This will not be a battle about territory, it’s about money, greed, and causalities.

December, 6th 2017 the day Indiana will begin to fall or still survive.

STORYLINE KICKSTART 2

UPDATE: After the intense fighting between the national guard and federal forces the civilians turned the tide for the favorable national guard, leading the way as the drove the federal forces out of the state. After the December, 6th victory the civilian forces celebrated their well earned freedom while the national guard was treated well by the local ladies ;).
There was some upsets and conflicts between the national guard and civilian force, and after a deadly bar fight the two groups are only holding together by threads. While on the other side of the Indiana and Illinois border the dishonored commander of the federal forces waits trial for her inability to take out the small national guard and civilian forces and take control of the resource "gold mine".
As the commander waits for her possible public execution, her XO has been promoted, and rumors from the refugee camps is that another attack is planned for November 14th, and this time the unknown commander is pissed and has brought their rocket artillery and vehicles.

This fight looks to spill more blood than Gettysburg!

STORYLINE KICKSTART 3

The November 14th battle went down in indiana history as the bloodiest battle of all time with over 1700 federal casualties and 156 national guard casualties, and 24 civilian casualties.
Fair to say the federal forces failed at their mission to take over camp arthur. They have since given up on the camp so far… federal forces have changed to more hit and run, spec ops style way of fighting, no longer trying with massive movements of troops with air and artillery support.
They have now set their sites on the rag tag city of mutual combat. What started as a lawless hide out for those who truly wanted to be free has become a vibrant city with a strong, well armed peacekeeping force that protects the city and surrounding villages. National guard (now known as the northern liberation force) has set up a training camp for freedom fighters a mile outside the main city. This camp provides a quick response if federal forces try anything in the area. WHATEVER COULD GO WRONG? RUMOR HAS IT cocaine plays a big part in the black market trade here.

STORYLINE KICKSTART IV

With both sides taking heavy losses the NLF (Northern Liberation Force) was forced out of mutual combat aswell as the federal forces. But the federal forces where able to use mutual combat as a check point for moving their forces further north. Using the famed I69 (the federal forces moved onto the capital and headquarters for the NLF, Indianapolis but before reaching 465 the NLF fired off a EMP disabling their vehicles from moving any further north. Unfortunately this EMP also disabled the NLF vehicles and now the fighting has left the woods and fields and became a house to house, Artillery position to artillery position battleground. The federal forces are knocking on the doorstep of the lightly held NLF POW camp.

Will the NLF reinforcements be able to hold onto the small prison and city around it or will it fall to the hands of the FF?

I'm planning to attend. I'm hoping to get a group together to run civilian. To those who have not yet played on this field, it is well worth the price of entry.

Hey, new airsofter here, just got my gun a few weeks ago. Have yet to go to a game but would really like to jump in this winter. Would this be a good thing to attend? I live downtown too so seems perfect. Would be willing to get a uniform together on the fly too. Advice? Would really like to attend.

I'm going to be on Tan side.

Isamov, while this might not be the best thing to start with, if you decide to go I can bring some extra equipment. I'm sure one of the more experienced players wouldn't mind you shadowing them to learn the ropes. Depending on your size, I may be able to lend you a uniform as well. I wear big and tall sizes.

Tl:dr; version

The previous owner and their photographer got butthurt when I asked them about the much larger watermarks on the photos for airsoft games compared to the photos for paintball games.

I'm looking to go to this event as my 1st event outside of pure speedsoft and when I looked at the Facebook page there is stuff about a "CO" for each team. What is a CO? Do I have to get cleared by my team's CO before I can be apart of the team?
