Bear
So yesterday I ran a WE Glock 17 with an Endo Tactical stock adapter as a primary weapon. I had a absolute blast with it and now I'm looking to squeeze the most out of the platform. I'm considering a longer barrel to get a little more fps for better brush penetration. I'm also looking at what I can do to the hop. Anything I can do to the hop up unit for better performance? Can gas guns be rhopped?
broken
Here's the combo I run in my G19 personally, you'll need a different barrel but I can highly recommend the brand Hop chamber: http://boomarms.com/shop/item.cfm?id=ML-CB-GK&curr_code=USDHop wheel: http://www.evike.com/products/45248/Bucking: http://www.evike.com/products/60953/Barrel: http://www.evike.com/products/41051/ (You'll need one that's 96-97mm for the G17) As for an rhop, yes and no. What you get for pistols is an I/F key, which one you need will depend on your hop. The one you need is going to depend on how the hop arm is designed, I may be wrong but I believe all the WE G-series need an I key. It applies more even pressure to the hop up bucking, thus increasing the hop. Edited June 12, 2017 by broken
Bear
Thanks, Broken. Now just to decide what barrel to use. I think I'm going to put a 112mm from a Hi Capa in, and possibly a rocket valve, to raise the fps a little. I'd like to get it to around 350 fps. broken
How are you planning on covering the extra barrel? Suppressor? Flash hider?
Bear
I'm planning on a fake compensator of some sort. Though a short suppressor might look good too.
