thefamily46107
Hello Hoosiers! So I just became interested in Airsoft a couple of weeks ago, I have two guns a Colt 1911 Target and a brown and black rifle which I forgot the name of. I know how they aim but I'm not really sure how they shoot other then the pistol. I live in Beech Grove and I want to know where I can do some Airsoft training and battles. I don't know if it is a problem if I am a 12 year old (but not the ones who say cuss words a lot, neither am I edgy) and I want to know what the limit for Airsoft is. All I heard is just how you handle yourself on the battlefield. I do not own any Airsoft gear at all. So if you people can help me with my problems that will be greatly appreciated. Nox
A lot of field owners will want you to at least have a parent be present at the field if you are playing there for safety and accountability reasons, but as long as you have a good attitude and character then the majority of players won't mind at all. Heck, when i first started playing there was a guy whose daughter was like 7 or 8 and i recall her playing better than a lot of other people out there lol But anyway, welcome to the community! You should definitely hop on ebay and look around for some surplus BDUs, boots, and goggles to get you started. You can find someone to rent or borrow a gun from for the first couple games so that you get a chance to find something you really like and are comfortable with before having to make a big purchase Edited August 22, 2016 by Noxtoof

She was a badass little airsofter! Welcome to the forums man, handle yourself like a responsible person, use the common sense in game (And on the forums) and you will fit in perfectly!I too started at a young age! And with nothing but a plastic piece of junk from walmart! Make some friends, learn a thing or two about the gear and guns you carry and you'll be surprised how addictive airsoft can be! Sky Marshal Harvest
Welcome to Indiana.Listen to older players that give good advice and don't play outside with your bb gun in a subdivision, and you'll probably be alright.
Nox
If you find an event that you are going to attend, just make a post on the event thread and ask if anyone has an extra gun/gear you can use for the day! You will find that far more people are willing to help a new guy out than you would expect.

When you are looking at obtaining your own gear look into nice full seal goggles, and a good pair of boots. Once I get back out there I'll always have a gun for loan, but don't count on me for the next couple of months.
