Chronos
First off, I would like to say that I am familiar with how to tech, and have been doing it for a while now. However, my problem is knowing what brands work together and what brands don't. So, my problem is that my gun is firing, but the bbs are not making it through the hop-up or are not maintaining full velocity. I was having this issue with my DMR, and by switching hop-ups it worked. Right now I have an APS hop-up inside my WE M4. Is APS compatible with other brands, or is it just like Elite Force where it only works with its own brand?
Spectra
You're talking about this unit, right? http://www.evike.com/products/41946/ If so it should be compatible with other brands (unless WE is unique somehow?) but they are not very good chambers in general and you can find a lot of complaints about them. I have a couple of APS M933's I bought when they were on super-clearance for $99 that came with the chamber linked above. I've since replaced both chambers with ProWins because they didn't hold their hop position well, but I never had any feeding issues that I can recall except when I changed the stock nub for a flat nub in one of them. Chronos
Thanks Spectra, that's exactly the hop-up I'm talking about. I guess I'll just have to tinker around, because I'm using the WE body, but the original gearbox cracked so I'm having to use a different gearbox, which might be the issue. McDingoface
You might check and see if the chamber seals well with the front facet of that shell you are using, where the air nozzle protrudes out. Ive run into compression issues because I switched chambers and it didn't seal well
Chronos
Yeah, I think that's the problem. I'm using an Ignite Black Ops gearbox, but with the internals completely switched out. Supposedly it's OEMd by APS, but I'm not so sure.
