Shadow 1 Delta
I was wondering as to everyone's experience with the Ninja LPR rig as pertaining to HPA setups... I am still trying to fine tune some hi-cap HPA/GBBR mags and I think I have gotten all the feeding issues with the mags handled, but it seems like my air rig has some faults. I started trying to use a Palmer's Pursuit regulator, but that didn't seem to want to get below 140-ish PSI (w/ Guerilla Air 48/3000 tank), so I picked up the Ninja. It is able to get the PSI down to the 120 range, but each pull of the trigger drops the rig by about 20 psi, which means I can shoot a quick 3 shot (semi) burst, then wait about 5 seconds for the pressure to build back up or a sustained fire of about 1 shot per 2 seconds, which kind of contradicts the whole purpose of having a hi-cap gbbr mag... Is this PSI drop normal for the LPR? Any insight? Thanks...
Echo
The ninja LPR delivers the volume of air equivalent to 250-450psi. This doesn't mean you get that pressure at your regulator but the same volume. It's like a refresh rate. Your reg shows 100psi, you pull the trigger and it drops to 80psi, and then bounces back to 100psi. The time it takes for it to build back from 80 to 100 psi is the refresh rate.I know about this because I experienced the same issue, and I found a way to fix it.First: get a normal rig. You can find them on eBay for anywhere between 10-20 dollars with free shipping. Don't be surprised in the description if it says 800psi, that's a good thing. More volume leads to a smaller refresh time.Second: go to ampedairsoft.com and look for hose rigs. You want the one made for the daytona gun series. You will no longer need the quick detach on you regulator as this hose is going to screw directly into it. When you have it all assembled and you put air to your gun you will be able to run at a little less psi than you have been because the air restrictions are now gone, but also, when you shoot, even on full auto, your gauge will barely move because the refresh rate is so high.Hope this helps you caller. Happy airsofting! Edited August 5, 2015 by Echo

Shadow 1 Delta
I may have to. Unless I am looking at the totally wrong thing, I think that is the line I already have that came with my LPR...
