Overview:

This will be an open play game at a new field approxamitely 20 minutes north of Purdue University. Teams will be divided into 4-8 people depending on the amount of people who show up to play. This is an objective based game with side missions to score additional points. Main objectives will be to find and control checkpoints marked by small flags throughout the Area of Operation (AO). Side missions will range from finding hidden packages to escorting VIPs to assassination missions on key targets.

*NOTE: This is a new field and this is meant to be a fun game for all players. Having at least 20-30 players is optimal to encourage the land owners to continue to allow us to use their land for games. Future games, Military Simulation games and open games alike, at this location are dependent on your support. Also, make sure that you clean up after yourselves. We want to have the best image possible for the airsoft community to leave a good impact on the landowners.

Required Equipment:

-Full seal ANZI 87.1+ goggles. (No ski goggles or shooting glasses)

-Airsoft gun

-Biodegradable Airsoft BBs

-Red rag (for calling hits)

-Water

-Filled out waiver (waivers will be provided at the field)

Ruleset

Weapons class and fps limits (measured with .2gr BBs):

1) AEGs, Pistols, and Support Weapons: Max 400fps, no MED. If possible, bang kills for point blank shots should be offered for safety. Support weapons must be based on a real support weapon and AEGs with drum magazines are not allowed.

2) DMR (semi-auto): Max 450fps, 50' MED. Must be permanently altered to semi-auto only.

3) Sniper Rifle (bolt action): Max 600 fps, 100' MED. Must carry secondary weapon capabable of lesser class fps.

Please direct all questions to this thread.  Purdue Airsoft Members Sharp and Granite will also be monitoring this thread, and are qualified to answer any questions.

Work schedule and weather dependent, but as of now I'm in.

*Edit. Are there any camo requirements as far as teams or can we just wear whatever? If that's the case I will more than likely show up in civis.

To those that are going this is an awesome place to go and be. I use to go there to shoot real steel. Totally spaced it was around until a few weeks ago.

I am hoping to make it to this one as well.  Been getting the itch to sling some plastic for a while and have some new gear to field test...  Possibly with a +1

Most games are over a hour forty minute drive for me but this is only 30 minutes away I am in.   +1 He-Man is in but topic is locked for him. Why is that?

Awesome to see a game back near my hometown! I already posted that I'm going in the INAC forums but I'll do so here as well.. definitely in with a possible +1.

I need as many people as possible to see this. I don't know if you are bringing lunch or not but if you bring something with peanuts try to make sure you don't come in contact with my brother as he is very allergic to them. If you have disinfectant wipes with you that would work to. Thanks.

He probably hasn't reached the recommended post count to be able to post inside the Games section.  It's a safeguard in place to keep people from joining just to get their games noticed and not interact with the community.

Folks, due to very low attendance, we're changing the format up.  We will be changing this into a Purdue Airsoft training even with shorter, repetitive games and discussions.  There will be more down time than a typical event and ENDEX will most likely be earlier than originally scheduled.  If anyone outside of Purdue still wants to come, you are welcome, it will still be $10.

That means if there is a gaggle of people who plan on coming but have in no way let us know, we will not be set up to accommodate them.  Please let us know if you intend on joining us.

Again: WE ARE NO LONGER FOLLOWING THE GAMEPLAY FORMAT IN THE ORIGINAL POST, WE HAVE REDUCED THIS TO A TRAINING EVENT BECAUSE OF LOW ATTENDENCE.

Unfortunately I cannot edit my main post.

Me and He-Man are still in as long as no one bails. Hopefully my other brother will change his mind and come with us also. I think as long as we have at least 8 people we could still stick with the original plans with just a sooner end time.

Sorry, you need to actually be a Purdue student for the discount.

If by "training Event" you still mean some good bb slinging fun and games, I am still in. It has been way too long and I have too many new toys to field test to not participate.  As long as I get some trigger time, it will be worth the hour and a half drive...
